42774  1RAR - Corporal. Reginald Hedley. Hillier 26 Coonabarabran NSW. Hillier MID was killed in action at Vo Dat, Binh Tuy Province 29th November 1965. The South Vietnamese Government awarded him a Military Merit Medal and Gallantry Cross with Palm, describing him as a courageous combatant. He is the only NT Veteran killed in Vietnam.
